What is Genetic Testing?
Let’s get down to the basics.
Genetic testing, also known as DNA testing, allows a family member to understand risk of developing a disease. Genetic testing tests for mutations that are carried from one generation to another. Most genetic diseases are the direct result of a mutation in one gene. These diseases may be life threatening (such as Cystic Fibrosis) or may impact your lifestyle (like diabetes).
After one learns what diseases they are at an increased genetic risk to develop they can perform different type of diagnostic testing to early detect diseases. Early detecting increases the odds of survival in most diseases including cancer. More information on genetic testing can be found through products such as BRACAnalysis or MyRisk.

That’s indeed a useful read. Good to know some well-known sites promoting genetic cancer awareness. Also, your writing style is worth-noticing. Thanks for your info.
