One of the most prevalent cancers in India is non-small cell lung cancer. However, many cancers in India are caught at a later stage. Early detection can change entirely change the survival outlook for a patient.
The survival rates of non-small cell lung cancer enormously changes by stage. The earliest stage 1A has a 5-year survival rate which is 82% better than the latest stage 4! The vast majority of patients caught in stage 1A survive while patients with stage 4 do not.
