Liver Cancer Prevention & Tips
There is no guaranteed way to prevent the development of liver cancer, but there are a number of ways in which the risk can be reduced:
- Drink alcohol only with moderation or give up alcohol completely.
- Maintain a healthy weight. If you have to lose weight, reduce the number of calories you consume each day and increase the amount of exercise you exercise.
- Follow the instructions for exposure to some chemicals at home or at work.
- A vaccine against hepatitis B – You can reduce the risk of hepatitis B by administering the hepatitis B vaccine, which provides more than 90% protection for both adults and children. Prevent the risk of hepatitis C – there are no hepatitis C vaccines, but you can reduce the risk of infection. Avoid unprotected sexual intercourse with multiple partners or with people who may be at risk of having hepatitis C or other sexually transmitted infection, avoiding the joint use of others or other objects that come in direct contact with the blood or other fluids, etc.
- Perform periodic analyzes and investigations for early detection of diseases, including liver disease (screening).
