Generally, cancer begins when the cells in the body begin to grow exceedingly out of control. This uncontrolled growth is otherwise called malignant growth. The truth is, cells in almost any part of the body can be cancer cells- which in turn can spread to other parts of the body. But what is prostate cancer? Prostate cancer is identified with the prostate gland. The prostate gland is found in males only and it contributes to the formation of the fluid that makes the semen. Some types of prostate cancer are sarcomas, small cell carcinomas, neuroendocrine tumours, and transitional cell carcinomas. There are other types but they are less common.
