Testicular Cancer Symptoms
The main signs of testicular cancer include:
- formations or nodules on the testis, or a change in appearance or structure;
- swelling of the scrotum, sometimes caused by sudden fluid build-up;
- persistent pain in the lower abdomen or scrotum;
- pain, discomfort or weight in the scrotum;
- enlarged breasts or swollen breasts due to the secretion of hormones that stimulate breast enlargement.
Some types of testicular cancer do not produce any symptoms. In addition, there are a variety of other non-cancerous conditions that can produce similar symptoms, such as testicular lesions and inflammation and viral or bacterial infections.
